JOB TITLE: Sr Product & Marketing Manager
JOB LOCATION: BANGALORE, INDIA

Responsibilities:
- Supports product life cycle profitability, cost and globalization
- Supports current product portfolio management and accountability
- Responsible for key product performance and integrity
- Responsible for product prioritization and change, as well as managing funding of changes
- Ensure product financials fit within the overall product strategy and pricing guidelines
- Develop detail competitive analysis for products
- Develop capital allocation plans
- Develop cost reduction strategies
- Team with Businesses, Sales and Product Manager to provide recommendations on catalog pricing
- Leads Product Team(s) related to Avankia products
- Develop integrated product, technology, and environment roadmaps
- Lead and perform early phase marking efforts, including Customer needs analysis, Market segmentation and segment analysis
- Voice-of-customer planning and support of customer interviews and surveys
- Development of value propositions and value pricing analysis, Product promotion and launch activities
PM Responsibilities:
- Help define products and features after gathering requirements
- Work with a brilliant engineering team for iterative/milestone-driven development of products and features
PMM Responsibilities:
- Creating and owning strategic marketing platform, including target market definition, messaging, competitive positioning, packaging, and pricing for company products
- Developing, planning, and executing marketing programs and campaigns aimed at raising awareness of company’s products in the market. Programs will be customer-facing, partner-facing, and community-facing.
- Creating and distributing of product-centric content into the market utilizing a variety of content streams: video, writing, website, blogs, podcasts, social media etc.
- Developing sales support materials (company/product presentations, sales scripts, demos, cheat sheets, etc.)
- Delivering product expertise, crafting real world solutions, writing local collateral to reach customers with a consistent and relevant message
- Develop the sales strategy for products and solutions. Analyze the sales cycle and channel mix for products and formulate ideas and approaches to optimize the selling process
- Support the closing of flagship deals through product presentations and demonstrations to customers (tradeshows, road shows, customer briefings)
- Recruit and manage beta customers when relevant and needed
- Develop relationships with a few flagship customers; turn these customers into references
- Develop and manage relationships with key analysts and members of the press
- Act as a product subject matter expert to internal and external stakeholders
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in marketing, business or engineering
- 3 years of experience managing and promoting high technology products from inception through sunset
- U.S. citizen due to ITAR requirements
Additional Qualifications:
- MBA preferred
- Knowledge of IT business
- Broad IT product knowledge, with SaaS product knowledge
- 5 years experience managing and promoting high technology products from inception through sunset
- Proven track record executing marketing projects and programs
- Strong business-to-business analytical, financial, strategic thinking and marketing skills
- Strong written and verbal presentation and communication skills
- Experience in developing and executing strategy and growth plans for new products and new market applications
- Success in managing through influence and persuasion in a highly matrixed structure
- Proven ability to influence and lead large, diverse teams from various internal and external organizations
- Ability to think strategically and to scope tasks and set goals
- Customer contact experience
