Position Summary:

The SENIOR SALES/PRODUCT EXECUTIVE will be responsible for managing and growing reseller accounts within specific or multiple product or service simultaneously. This will be accomplished via ongoing reseller , direct relationship development and regular communication with their assigned partner and customer base.

Primary duties include increasing market presence through outbound call programs, present Avankia partner resources, and probe for sales opportunities within existing partner base. The Sales Rep must build relationships with these partners, prepare them to sell and service Avankia’s products and drive partners' revenue generation activities.
This position will be accountable for meeting specific revenue goals associated with assigned product or service line. This is a base plus performance bonus position.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

This position reports to the Sales Manager and will work with our global team and is responsible for the following primary duties:

•        Provide consultative sales support to business partners (resellers)

•        Assist assigned partners in closing sales opportunities

•        Drive performance of business partners to meet or exceed program
metrics, goals and objectives

•        Expand relationships and identify opportunities with current resellers
to aggressively grow sales volume

•        Document all interactions in Salesforce.com

•        Communicate and implement marketing programs & product updates with business partners

•        Become a trusted consultant and product expert to named accounts

•        Responsible for territory quota by growing business partner sales

•        Demonstrates knowledge of SaaS and technology

•        Develop and execute a business plan to exceed the assigned
revenue target

•        Maintain regular communication with manager(s) and team

•        Manage sales pipeline as well as work collaboratively to ensure sales
targets are met

•        Perform necessary customer service duties to exceed client and partner expectations

•        Handle issues and escalations
Required Experience, Skills and Education:

•        Direct or Channel sales (reseller) experience required

•        Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of required technology

•        Strong background in channel/partner account management and development (revenue based with partner relationships)

•        Execute, manage and document partner lifecycle activities within a CRM system

•        A strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas within Channel Management Structure

•        0 to 2 years of outbound call center experience or equivalent

•        High level of interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills

•        CRM program experience a plus (Siebel, SalesForce.com, etc.)

•        Proficiency in the use of email and navigation within the internet

•        High level of business writing skills

•        Personal drive, energy, enthusiasm, and "can do" attitude

•        Proficient in use of MS Office suite products (Excel, Word, etc)

•        Bachelors degree preferred and/or equivalent technology related experience, coursework or certifications
